Appearance of the plant

Heart-shaped, glossy green leaves that grow gracefully along tendrils

Can be kept hanging or climbing

Indoors usually 50–150 cm tall, depending on pruning and support

Location

Bright spot with lots of indirect sunlight

Also tolerates partial shade and can cope reasonably well with less light

Avoid prolonged bright midday sun to prevent leaf burn

Water requirement

Water as soon as the top layer of potting soil has dried out slightly.

A little more often in spring and summer, less in winter

Keep humidity slightly elevated for healthy leaf growth

Winter hardiness

Not winter hardy, only suitable as a houseplant
