Location

Light to very light spot with plenty of indirect sunlight

The more light, the brighter the leaf colors — but avoid prolonged bright midday sun

Likes a stable location without drafts or sudden temperature fluctuations

Water requirement

Water as soon as the top layer of potting soil has dried out slightly.

Keep the soil slightly moist, but avoid letting the roots stand in water

Likes high humidity, occasional misting helps prevent leaf fall

Winter hardiness

Not winter hardy, only suitable as a houseplant

Minimum temperature: approx. 15°C

Protect against draughts and cold air currents
