Finely feathered, gracefully overhanging leaves in fresh green

Several slender trunks that together form a full forest

In pots usually 120–220 cm tall; slow growing but spreading

Location

Bright spot with lots of indirect sunlight

Also tolerates some partial shade, but grows faster in sufficient light

Avoid prolonged direct bright midday sun to prevent leaf burn.

Water requirement

Keep the potting soil slightly moist, but avoid wet roots

Water regularly in spring and summer; water a little more sparingly in winter

Likes higher humidity — occasional misting will help prevent brown leaf tips

Winter hardiness

Not winter hardy, only suitable as a houseplant

Minimum temperature: approx. 15°C

Protect against draughts and cold air currents
