Bright spot with lots of indirect sunlight
Also tolerates partial shade, but grows less quickly there
Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight as the leaves may burn.
Water requirement
Water regularly, but allow the top layer of potting soil to dry out slightly
Keep the humidity slightly higher, for example by spraying

Not winter hardy, only suitable as a houseplant
Fun fact: Dypsis lutescens is high on NASA's list of air-purifying plants and helps filter formaldehyde and benzene, among other things, from the air.
