Appearance of the plant:

The Yucca rostrata is a striking, architectural plant with an exotic and sleek appearance. It has a dense crown of narrow, sword-shaped leaves in a blue-gray to silvery-blue hue. The leaves form an almost symmetrical spherical shape, atop a sturdy, straight trunk. Over time, this yucca can grow to a height of 2 to 4 meters , especially in open ground. Its palm-like silhouette makes it a real eye-catcher in the garden or in a pot.

Location:

The Yucca rostrata loves a sunny, warm spot. It grows best in full sun, in well-drained soil. Ideal for rock gardens, Mediterranean borders, or in a large pot on a sunny patio. It can also thrive indoors if it gets plenty of light, preferably near a large window. Protection from prolonged rain or frost is recommended, especially if it's in a pot.

Water requirement:

This plant has low water requirements and is highly drought-resistant. Allow the soil to dry completely between waterings. In a pot, it's important that excess water drains well to prevent root rot. During the winter months, it barely needs watering, especially if kept in a cool spot.

Winter hardiness:
